Johnathan Cromwell is an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship & Innovation at the University of San Francisco, where he serves as both Faculty Lead for the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Major and Faculty Director of the newly-launched IDEA Initiative @ USF. His research focuses on creativity and innovation in organizations, particularly how people collaborate with each other as they tackle vague, open-ended, and ambiguous problems. This work has been featured in premier outlets such as Administrative Science Quarterly, Harvard Business Review, and MIT Sloan Management Review, along with winning multiple awards such as the “Best Paper Award” from the OB Division at the Academy of Management and “Outstanding Conference Paper Award” from INGRoup. He earned an S.B. in Chemical-Biological Engineering from MIT and a Doctorate in Management from Harvard Business School.
